Five TED Talks to Motivate You in 2014

TED Talks (Technology, Entertainment and Design) are Ideas Worth Spreading. TED talks are given at various TED Conferences around the world. TED’s mission is to build a , “clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world’s most inspired thinkers, and also a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other.[12]

If you have not seen them, it is worth your time. TED talks, typically under 20 minutes or so, are innovative, informational, inspirational and entertaining (no “I” word for the last one sorry).

I will typically catch TED Talks a few times a week on the TEDTalks Podcast channel, which I highly recommend.

But here are five TED Talks everyone should watch to help inspire, motivate and help you succeed in 2014. They will challenge your way of thinking and possibly even change how you approach life in this new year. Enjoy.

1. Sir Ken Robinson: Will help your mind flourish.

Sir Ken Robinson: The Educational Paradigm Shift

This one is not specifically a TED Talk, but rather a talk given at RSA, however it is too incredible to leave out.

2. Simon Sinek: Starting with Why?

3. Angela Lee Duckworth: What you need to succeed this year.

4. Malcolm Gladwell: The underdog is not who you thought.

5. Thomas Suarez: The future is bright.

What are your “must see” TED Talks?
